no literally, if someone says we have 30 mins then I plan to be ready in exactly 30mins

My mom does this all the time. “Be ready at 10” but then she has to do something completely unrelated and we don’t leave until 10:30…

Or when someone says “in a little bit,” “in a while,” or “in a couple minutes.” My parents always get annoyed with me when I ask if that means 10 minutes or 2 hours

someone told me to come to their dorm when i was ready so i went there after abt 5 minutes /when i was ready/ and apparently that was too quick 😅
