Yes I see it a lot in men who got diagnosed as children. Because their authority figured just give them passes

Someone literally threatened me repeatedly and went “I’m autistic so you need to be more clear about boundaries” when I tried getting a no contact order in court sjdhdjs and it worked

Right??? There’s a guy in my class who very clearly had that happen to him. It’s gotten to the point where he’s butting into other conversations we’re having with our professor one-on-one and always interrupting so he can be first

It is very annoying and distracting. I am just trying to learn but he has to be the center of attention I guess 🙄

And it doesn’t do them any favors! It’s important to understand how to be considerate of others, even if you need more time and help to do so.

Wait the order worked or the “blame it on the autism” worked

Exactly! Like I understand where he’s coming from, trust me, but it’s no excuse to be so entitled

Blaming it on autism worked shdhdks bc for a no contact order you have to prove that they knew you didn’t want them making that kind of contact (even when that contact is assault I guess ???)

Damn thats CRAZY you should be able to get it from just assault are you okay?

University no contact directive is in place and I’ve been reporting all the violations of it, beyond that I just try not to go out alone and when I have to I stay on the phone with someone just in case

I’m so freaking sorry. I hesitate to even disclose that I’m autistic or ADHD unless somebody is also diagnosed because of people just like this. It’s give us a bad freaking rap and it pisses me off
