I’m a vocal performance major, and it’s never too late to learn music. I literally had to start college late due to my TBI, and I’m doing so well in my major. It’s so common for people to think it’s too late but for music, a lot of people are actually very open to teaching folks and helping you grow in this field

the barrier to entry with music is also wayyyyyy lower than what most people think. there’s a million bits of free and “free” and not so free but you can get it for free software out there for basically any kind of music you’re interested in making. lots of instruments can be found for relatively cheap at secondhand shops too

Yes absolutely. My uni has a really good music program, but it’s not as difficult to get into Carnegie Melon or something. Some community centers where I live also offer singing lessons at my school for a discounted price based on your income too.
