If possible putting on pants, socks, gloves etc to cover the area helps me

I’m allergic to adhesive so can’t use bandaids. I actually got what I do from someone on here a while ago, which is to buy rubber finger thimble things to cover my fingers. They’re reusable too so as long as you don’t lose them often it shouldn’t be expensive. I also pick at socks if I really need to pick something.

Even a light gaze wrap works too if there’s infection and you need it covered but somewhat exposed for proper healing
