the necessities of genuinely taking advantage of the first year of college is something that needs to be shared with first-years everywhere

Yes there are definitely resources and stuff after college, like there’s no cutoff or anything, learning is for life yolo. It’s just easiest for a lot of people because it’s an academic environment with more gathered resources, pretty much like a service. For a lot of other people it’s just fuck this shit lol it’s faster and easier just to do it on my own this way.

No it isn’t 😂 most post grad education is not free. There are free resources but most things of value and consequence cost $.

You mistake value for recognition. Harvards entire curriculum is online for free. Resources are everywhere. The only thing stopping you from learning is urself. Education does not rely on a degree or certification to validate its worth

Maybe for you, but a lot of people don’t learn well outside of a school environment lol

you overestimate most people’s motivation to educate themselves after they’ve already completed so many years of schooling, many without taking a break.

And we wonder why America struggles to line up against other countries in academics

The entire curriculum is NOT online. I’ve looked at those courses. Only some are online. Yes that’s great but it doesn’t suit everyone and their career field.

i see where you’re coming from, but your delivery is off, so others won’t understand. it is unfortunate that with knowledge, you must have prior experience, and the ability to secure a professional job without a degree is the U.S. is next to impossible unless you’re a nepo baby. i do envy other countries primary education programs 🥲 we (the US) are inferior in basic knowledge(K-12) but have excellent collegiate programs
