what they fail to acknowledge is that suicide rates are high for autistic people because we live in an ableist society that will go to extreme lengths to not have to accommodate those that struggle. maybe if more NT’s cared about those with invisible disabilities autistic people wouldn’t suffer as much.

Now I don’t know exact dates off hand but I definitely know the industrial era aka the Industrial Revolution and the development of the autism diagnosis were different centuries
