Well, perhaps it feels that way because of how NTs have defined standard friendships. They often require maintenance, and lack of communications causes decay in the friendship stat between NTs. They will likely expect the same from you. But NDs are pretty ok with holding friendship values across time, only decaying from insult/injury/maturity
