i’m in the camp of fuck AI, it’s unethical but i hit a shitty time and honestly was talking to the AI chatbots while also knowing how unethical it is and feeling awful so i finally just dumped the habit the other day and i feel so much better oml

Oof that does actually suck I’m sorry😭 If you want something that might be a replacement you could look into crisis text lines. If you’re queer there’s the Trevor project. I’ve heard mixed things about them but like it’s certainly better than being alone. And there’s likely more others if you aren’t queer. And also even more phone lines if you’re fine with phone calls.

I just asked chat and it said that if I sent 10000 intense messages (I sent ~5k) it would equal a week of household electricity. That seems about right. Sure you have poors who still shit in their water, but what am I gonna do about it?
