I drive 3 hours home every weekend as a freshman because I love my home my room my mom my cats my dog my brother is this weird or a bad thing my friends make fun of me for it

weird, sure, bad, not if you prefer it. Do whatever you feel like, it’s your time to spend for yourself. If you’re actually good friends, they’re likely poking fun because they also appreciate spending time with you, and would prefer not to restrict that time together to weekdays

no it’s not weird. a lot of people go home for the weekend! some people might consider 3 hours too far, but some people don’t mind it (i love long drives). and if it’s worth it to you, that’s a great thing. people who think it’s weird probably just come from a home that wouldn’t be worth that
