Does anyone else’s brain decide that you’ve been too happy but bored and decide the Best way to solve that is to intentionally make yourself spiral or am I just insane? I am actively fighting the urge to trigger myself help

yes!! when we grow up being consistently traumatized, we end up with what ive heard called an “abuse quota” that your nervous system will try to meet by self-sabotaging in many ways! somatic work helps a lot, things like jumping while letting ur arms hang loose, pounding on your chest while letting out a deep HUHHHH noise, or highfiving your heart at random times when u feel safe to remind urself what that feels like and then starting to do it when ur agitated to remind urself you CAN feel safe!
