Does anyone have any tips or experiences with slowly unmasking around people you trust? This year I’ve learned and worked with doctors that believe I may have autism. What I thought was just being introverted, I’ve learned has been unconscious masking smh

Check out some work that Dr. Devon price has done. They have a couple really good books on unmasking. First is “unmasking autism”. This has a ton of research in it and explains the science behind masking. The second is more of a guide, it’s called “unmasking for life”. This one explains how to unmask in a variety of contexts.
