I would like to say the long term side effects of weed instead as someone who has smoked since 15, memory issues, dependency/coping, higher rates of depression and intrusive thoughts, higher rates of anxiety, and potentially psychosis. Do not use this drug unprescribed to “treat” your mental health. It’s good to wind down and have fun, but if you start without addressing your issues it’ll make them worse.

It makes me feel less anxious and I’m able to process my emotions more clearly. The things I reflect on carry over when I’m sober, and I feel like I’m able to ‘check’ myself a bit more when I’m spiraling. I can’t study or be ‘productive’ during then tho, so I usually take it at night or with friends. This is just my experience tho. It won’t be completely identical to yours or anyone else’s

Not dissing those who get benefits from weed I love it and it has helped me in many ways especially with my insomnia. But I want it to be known weed in my opinion is worse for most people struggling with mental health issues, especially when used without someone monitoring your progress like a therapist or psychiatrist. Be safe everyone.
