Do plastic utensils have the same effect? Not the best for the environment but you can reuse them a few times if you hand wash and it’s worth it if you’re dreading eating because of sensory issues

Cheap, disposable thin ones, yeah. Proper thick, bulky ones that you keep are better. Also wooden ones, though those degrade over time. Maybe it's the sharpness? Idk
