Sometimes I feel either overwhelming or underwhelming. Asking for too much or not giving enough. I can never find balance and my weird language of expressing love does not help

i feel like loving someone is always a choice to me. even with the people closest to me that i love the most, friends and family, it all feels like a choice i have to make & doesn’t feel natural at all to me

I tried expressing this once to my (ex) therapist and just stared at me for a while and then said wow that's deep. then just moved the fuck on and it was so hard for me to talk about too...
