Do any other girls with autism struggle to make other girl friends?

It happens mostly because girls can much more easily pick out “different” behavior compared for expectations for girls, since they know how girls are “supposed” to act where guys just assume any differences are cause we’re girls

Socializing as a girl / young woman is significantly different than socializing as a young man. It’s more subtle and I get the sense there’s a lot more unspoken communication and inferencing happening here than between male friends. Just my personal speculation though.

Definitely a correlation between being a neurodivergent woman and having guy friends!
