I was forced to take a leave of absence due to mental health. I took a year off and transferred to an “easier” (less prestigious, less well-known) and had a much better time. I have friends who completely dropped out and are thriving now. You gotta take care of you, life will work out whether or not you finish college or do it in the typical timeline/way. 🫶
The ONLY reason I graduated was because of three professors I had senior year that understood that if they wanted my best work, they had to be lenient with deadlines and with me getting all of my work in. They knew I genuinely tried my hardest and my hardest wasn’t enough for the way college normally works
