After many years of thinking I was very unmotivated and stupid for always being forgetful, I have just been diagnosed with adhd. Any tips in general for dealing with it and also feeling better about myself now that I know I’m not just lazy and dumb? 🥲
Make lists and set reminders. Utilize your phone calendar and reminders heavily. It’s always helped me a ton. Otherwise I’ll forget.

Also find ways to incentivize yourself. Ex / if I wash these dishes then I can watch that movie or play this game for 2 hours type stuff but you do have to have the self control to not just reward yourself without doing the task (sometimes I struggle with this).
