It felt so uncomfortable to do it at first and I thought I was putting way more stress into my forehead, but I think I got it? Idk how long I can consciously keep a slight crinkle in my eyes tho

I tend to smile quite often, and most people find it off-putting. There really is no winning

“Why aren’t you smiling?” “Are you okay”?

I’ve learned to laugh at my smile and just blame my autism for the way that I genuinely don’t know how to smile for a camera/when I’m not feeling actual joy

I got told in high school that the fact that I always smiled made me look untrustworthy? An insane thing to tell a freshman just out of the blue
