for anyone curious but too lazy to look it up… there’s the most common up quarks and down quarks… then theres charm quarks and strange quarks…. then the rarest top quarks and bottom quarks…… a proton has two up quarks and one down quark… an antiprotron (antimatter) has two down quarks and one up….. an electron does not have quarks, it’s its own fundamental particle… its antimatter pair is a positron
oh and the universe is almost entirely matter, antimatter is very rare. except, in all the empty spaces of the universe (such as the space between planets or space between atoms) there is a quantum field of energy…. this energy constantly “spawns in” (or collapses into) pairs of matter and antimatter virtual particles these particles “borrow” energy from the field for only a fraction of time, then it returns to the field
“empty” vacuum space is just the cooled off energy from the big bang. oh and we only exist due to a freak error. the universe’s big bang energy mathematically should have created an equal amount of matter and anti matter… but it didnt…. there was more matter. so they pairs all canceled each other out (cooled off into the vaccum field) and the remaining “extra matter” became everything we see and rely on today (the sun, moon, stars, planets, all the molecules in existence that we can observe…
