hi i’m a teacher. if a prof says that, its likely because you didn’t explain the connection to the thesis well enough or provide context for that sentence. or your understanding of the topic is not very high and you’re trying to talk about stuff that you have no idea about and sound insane. but that’s not very likely lol. i hope that may help a lil
