You know. The older I get the more this disability seems to disable me. When I was 15 it was just a little thing that made me interesting but NOW I can’t manage HALF the homework I used to👍

Wait actually. Fuck. Maybe the other half of that brain power is now being used for like. Keeping me alive. Now that that’s my responsibility rather than my parents. Shit yea that’s probably it actually😭

Everyone gets more disabled as they age, friend. Being already disabled definitely accelerates it, though. And don’t forget the power of burnout - when’s the last time you felt completely rested?

Yeah but being in your 20s and 30s isn’t exactly aging

The second you’re born you’re aging. An entire decade is 100% exactly aging

Yeah but like 17 to 22 isn’t and that’s not an entire decade. 25 to 30 isn’t and that’s not an entire decade. 20 to 35/40 is when you’d start noticing aging.

Not at all. If you feel that way, then you’re very blessed. I’m 21, and I’m noticing huge differences even from 18. If you’re able to say that a jump from 20 to 35 is the earliest you’ll start noticing that you’re aging, then you need to count your blessings because you have the privilege of the healthy and gracefully aging.

I’m 30. I have a long time of lived experience of the differences. It’s minimal in my experience, sure, but a lot of it has to do with prior health conditions, genetics of course, and environmental health factors. All I’m saying is you’re not going to notice some crazy difference between 5 years.
