And why is almost everyone I meet like this? Like you’re not quirky, cool or funny. And no, I will not “get used to it”

My whole family is like this and then I get told to lighten up when I inevitably get upset 🫠

Also APPARENTLY (I just looked this up) ppl who say their “love language” is teasing is MOST LIKELY a sign of emotional trauma. See I’m definitely emotionally traumatized but I HATE teasing. My emotional trauma made me become kind of a recluse

I’m a big fan of banter and it’s my love language ngl

depends on your definition of teasing. there’s a difference between playful banter and bullying

Even playful banter can go to far or just get exhausting after awhile. Like I’m well aware that what I get most of the time is playful banter but if that’s the primary way of showing love than idk, there’s still something missing

Well, that is true. I’ve never been able to tolerate straight up bullying. But at the same time though even the most innocent, playful banter can be EXHAUSTING after a while.

i mean like banter when you’re not already overstimulated for like thirty seconds. i don’t mean little sibling level of teasing

If we can’t lovingly insult each other how do I know what we have is real?
