Oh yea absolutely wtf…. God forbid your kid is mildly abnormal in any way. This is why I don’t go in that community (plus the fact I’m a trans woman)

Ya know what. If she doesn’t wanna have children, good. I have a feeling she would be a shitty parent

I think if you have a disability or illness that’s like really bad that you’ll most likely pass down you shouldn’t have kids but adhd and autism isn’t one of those you just need to do your research and be prepared with how to take care of neurodivergent children -neurodivergent kid

it's said in a way that feels like it's shaming people who would choose to take that risk too... which extra bites when you consider how many people with pcos/pmos struggle with infertility and would rather have a child with additional support needs than no child at all

When you have a kid there’s a chance they’ll be anything bro. If you decide that they’re predisposed to being a failure you are a bad parent right off the bat! The good thing about having kids is they will be like no one else the world has ever seen and be beautiful in their own way not that they will be perfect little princesses for your silly ass

not everyone ~can~ be a good parent to a child with extra support needs and it's good for someone to recognize that before they take the ever present chance of having one by becoming a parent, but this just makes everyone feel bad

i agree like if it makes their life very painful or very short life expectancy or something i can see why some ppl may make that choice or if you’re not equipped to take care of them plus any healthy child could get into an accident which leaves them disabled & you can’t just abandon them then reminds me of when someone i know was talking about how all kids have adhd now & no kids can sit still & color quietly & she would hate if she had kids with adhd.. like 🤨🤨🤨

(but maybe if her mom had known the condition she was gonna have, maybe she wouldn’t of chose to give birth to her either🤷🏻‍♀️)
