aw that’s so cooool, olympus cameras are so nice, it really sucks they kinda died. but no, mine is so old i use the proprietary cards for the camera

That’s crazy, I haven’t even heard of proprietary cards. I have the OMD EM10 MarkIV, and I actually just got a 75-300 lens for it

that’s so cool, i’ll go grab my camera to show you, don’t remember the model off the top of my head, but it’s a point and shoot so i just have the built in lens for it

I have mine memorized because I had a LOT of googling to do for my college photography class last year, it was taught based around a DSLR so I had to translate info to my camera myself

Me too, originally I wanted a Fujifilm but just couldn’t justify that price when I could get a very very similar Olympus for so much cheaper

i just think they have much sleeker camera bodies and generally really really high quality lenses, sure, good fucking luck getting support for anything, but i love their cameras

I’m actually so surprised I got that level of detail, the 75-300 lens I used is kinda known for getting really hard to work with when it’s at almost full zoom without a tripod and my ass was using it like a point and shoot at full zoom

My dream camera right now is a Hasselblad, but that’s an extremely far in the future purchase, for now I’m very satisfied with Olympus, they have pretty much everything a Fujifilm does I think

I actually have to keep all my water and sunrise photos RAW because my editing software seriously fucks up either the color or the highlights

I use Darktable so I’m able to take a snapshot and see a very clear side by side when I’m done, I was rushing just a little to make an insta post though so I didn’t for a lot of them

darktable is pretty good, i never really liked photoshop all that much but i loved lightroom, so darktable was a pretty easy transition for me

Omg someone else who uses Darktable, I use it because it’s free and downloadable. I was taught on Lightroom though so it was also a pretty easy transition for me

I have yet to pay for a single subscription but that may change my mind about Amazon prime lol, but I think I’ll just dump it all in a 500 GB external storage for now and wipe my computer, I have classwork and such on there too

I’m also an old camera collector, I have a more modern film camera I found at a thrift store and I also have a much older one that my dad gave to me, I’ve also called dibs on all his old cameras
