having an actual outloud conversation with my inner child/teen like “hey whats going on, what do u need” and seeing what comes up, also taoism has this thing called a dissolving meditation where u just sit with ur hand on wherever the emotional ache is, recognize it, breathe into it, and just let it be. by just allowing it instead of fighting it, it slowly dissipates
