I’m addicted to hot sauce bro 😭 I just made mac n cheese and I legit just had to take off the top of my hot sauce and dump a bunch in. It’s not enough. But I don’t wanna just grab a spicier hot sauce bc I like this one’s flavor

I fucking love red pepper flakes and put that shit in everything (may I also recommend investing in cayenne powder and jalapeno powder if you haven’t already)

Ah I’m so sorry, that is one of my least favorites. I’m a sriracha person through and through. I respect it though!

Idk if I’ve ever had sriracha. I like Tabasco and franks and I’ve tried some specifically bc they’re super hot. But I grew up on franks so it’s my favorite fs

Tabasco and franks are both vinegar-based hot sauces I believe which generally aren’t my favorite, but if you like one it makes sense you like the other! Sriracha is a more sweet-flavored hot sauce. I love it on burgers, eggs, in a spicy bagel sandwich… it’s delicious (to me).

Oh yeah I probably wouldn’t like it then. I don’t like sweet + spicy. Some especially hot ones are like pineapple + pepper or peach + pepper and that’s not my thing. I definitely like vinegar based ones. I like the vinegar taste, as weird as that sounds

I used to drink straight vinegar as a kid I more than understand (though I do also enjoy sweet and spicy hot sauces when they’re done well, flavor complexity is a sensory seeking behavior of mine if I had to guess)

See that’s what confuses me because I would do the exact same!! (I’ll still have a little swig of vinegar when I’m cooking) but I can’t stand a hot sauce that tastes like vinegar. Who knows what’s going on lol
