You’re correct, I’m not sure why you’re being downvoted. It shouldn’t be normal, but it absolutely already is. I can’t go outside without seeing some ai poster, ad, or billboard. Almost every major company is forcing some kind of shitty ai “feature” on us, and ai art has invaded literally anything you can think of. It’s become unavoidable at this point

Unavoidable to encounter yes but that’s companies trying to force normalcy. Every news article or post about ai being “unavoidable” or “normal now” are usually referring to usage rather than presence and are also over exaggerating. You can’t avoid encountering ai but you can fight against ai companies trying to make USING it unavoidable.

I don't think it's truly unavoidable. Tech companies are fucking bleeding money over this AI fad, and most people hate it, but because they're so powerful that no one can tell them no & have no souls, they all fell for it. Pretty soon their investors are gonna ask "Where's my money?" And then we'll probably face the second Great Depression but hey at least the AI bubble popped
