They could’ve started out as friends and met in school or through a mutual friend hangout, in that case it would’ve been proximity and/or shared interests that would initiate interaction

We lived across the street from each other, both had dogs and both liked skateboarding. I don’t really pay attention to people’s looks. It is difficult for me to find people attractive unless I know they are a good person. Idk how to explain it, unfortunately. Words are not my strength
