If no one reacted when I burped I wouldn’t have to say excuse me. This is where I think community begins to make my life worse. I crave the most absolute isolation, I think perception is so stupid

Societal structure, expectations, and norms are important within our lives. Without them as humans we’d devolve to chaos and lunacy. Look how bad things are with them now. They’d be much worse without them. The only thing that sucks and is an absolute negative about it is how much emphasis we put on societal “norms” that are shallow and don’t mean shit in the long term. Such as societal norms of beauty.

It’s not so much care for perception so much as care for how we impact others. Conscientiousness

It is less conscientious, like I respect that expectation and if people communicated a want for that instead of their perception I might respect it. When people just communicate their perception I treat them like kids and say “Wow you’re very perceptive” it slowly removes perception from my life

But if you want to isolate and be a hermit then by all means you can. So long as you’re not hurting anyone else with your actions then feel free to outcast yourself. Nothing wrong with that.

That might seem condescending to ppl tbh, a lot of ppl just live under implicit social structures they don’t feel the need to communicate. I suppose it’s our burden as neurodivergents deciphering that unwritten language. We can not like it, but it’s rather difficult to escape bc it is the environment we live in

I mean it would hurt the people that care about them

To an extent, but not physically harm them, just emotionally. Time will eventually allow that hurt to subside. But ultimately as long as the person is alive and well and they just want to be left alone then so be it.
