Snowgrave Ch4 scene being a rose that loses its petals. Do we really think none of these grown ass adults thought that maybe that sounds a bit SA coded?? And like to be clear I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that? The Snowgrave route always had SA adjacent themes to me anyway. It’s about loss of agency and control, so of course people will connect it to SA, especially when the Snowgrave route itself is kind of forced marriage coded with the very fact that we give Noelle a ring and can

Pressure her onto theoretically going on the Ferris Wheel with Kris, something she’s clearly uncomfortable with, and had been thinking of as a way to get closer romantically with Susie. Of course the Snowgrave route always had themes similar to SA and forced marriages. I get Toby Fox not wanting people to think in-universe Noelle was SA’d, but…idk. I kind of do prefer the original rose visual but I get some people would take it too literally I suppose. The unfortunate consequence of this

is that when you try to analyze the Snowgrave route and so much as suggest it has forced romance elements, people will yell at you saying that’s clearly not Toby’s intention. And again. I don’t think SA is what literally happened in-universe but I also just cannot believe that the Snowgrave route’s themes of forced romance are entirely unintentional.
