this is alao a dbt skill for distress tolerance called TIPP! (temperature, intense exercise, paced breathing, paired muslce relaxation)

Oooo I haven’t heard of that one yet. I think my (DBT) therapist might’ve told me about the ice thing but not the whole skill

it can be super helpful when you learn about how to actually apply it in your life! my bf has had difficulty regulating his emotions and very little help from most therapy skills, but TIPP actually helps him!
