I would get rid of half of my belongings today if i could get myself to, but my hoarder genetics have assigned sentimental value to everything I’ve ever owned

I need a body double to help me do this so my parents don’t keep coming to my room and telling me they’re going to bag shit up. bcuz sometimes they actually do and that’s traumatizing :)

Girl same I just have tons of clothes away and I want to find more drawer space so I can have a rotating closet and pick out by season even more of what I don’t wear and don’t notice. Also decor can be in there too. And I have a VHS tape collection where tf do I sell that

i have an extreme clothing sensitivity issue and have literally like 10 clothing items combined lmao but i just have so much random skin care, makeup, random knick knacks etc that are just taking up space

Oh girl at least skin care and make up are easy to throw out they expire. I have knick knacks I need to find better room for. Like legit mini figs, make it minis, squish mellows, pictures. Like not huge collections but just no good spot for it to be presented for the few things I saw and actually liked or gifted

I don’t think it’s being a hoarder tho. with ADHD it’s scientifically proven that we attach memories to physical objects because it helps cue our brain to start thinking about something. it’s just literally the way our brains work
