it’s lowkey funny to me when people try to talk casually about their ABA careers in a way that makes it sound morally-positive or at least -neutral, as if “behavior technician” isn’t one of the most evil-sounding job titles imaginable
I understand that the system is fucked, but my BCBA helped me so much and genuinely made my life better. She didn’t try and “cure” my autism, she just helped me manage social situations better
