Not diagnosed ND but suspected, and I still experience this regardless. I believe it's because (for me at least) if I don't look like I'm paying attention, it's because I'm doing smth else or unfocusing my eyes to give more attention to my ears. If I'm making myself sit still and look, I'm focusing on not zoning out, and I'm getting antsy, etc. idk if anyone else gets this but I figured I'd share and see what happens

Yes I can’t focus on 2 senses at once but at the same time I need to be sensing something with all of them so I have some sense of time and place
