Today was actually the clearest day we’ve had this week and the aqi was less than 100 but it’s also the most time I’ve spent outside all week and idk if I’m like subconsciously exaggerating this shit or not but I swear I can feel the toll on my lungs (I’m a tour guide and led a 90 minute walking tour) (I am also actively in the midst of a POTS diagnostic process and wearing a heart monitor and have been very symptomatic the last few days, this is likely related)
Ooo I want to go there or New Mexico for grad school! I like nature! I’ve never been to that part of the country before. I’ve been to California, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington DC, and every state on the east coast from Maine to Florida except for Georgia, but haven’t been anywhere in between the coasts except for Montana and Wyoming.
I’d go to New Mexico most places in AZ are gonna be unbearably hot if affordable or very expensive with half decent weather. AZ is a great place to vacation but there is really nothing to do regularly and no where to go outside, it’s usually too hot to hike during the day unless it’s winter and our winter last December was in the 70’s as an average high even getting into the 80’s in phoenix
