YES. The application and interview process is such a complicated dance, and the whole thing feels disingenuous. I hate it. It is so inaccessible, and it kind of forces you to hide your neurodivergence.

Never lie, that gets you in trouble, just never quite tell the whole truth. Makes it a more fun game to be had in terms of the hoops you gotta jump through. “Why do you want this job?” “I thought it sounded like an incredible opportunity [to make money], and you know ____ is such a prestigious organization the opportunity [to make money] was too prized not to offer up my skill set in the hopes I could actively contribute to what you do here [making me money].”
