I have interviewed for 14 positions and only 3 have brought me past the first round. How do I get better at interviewing (I’m in marketing if that helps and recently got my masters but this is my first full-time job hunt)

the STARL method helped me a lot, give it a google! also it’s a really hard job market out there so don’t beat urself up. if ur still in contact w anyone in ur career path, def give them a call and see if they have tips specific to ur industry. same with profs.

i got a lot of really good little tips from a college friend who became a hiring manager a bit after graduating. i think a lot of it also comes down to how you present yourself with your shortcomings. you need to frame yourself as someone who wants to learn

like when they said “do you have experience with xyz” and you have zero, you don’t just say “no”. you say “i don’t, but i have experience in [similar thing] and i’d love to expand that knowledge to xyz”
