technically its illegal because he used Nike logo and copyrighted phrases but since it was an overwhelmingly positive reception it would be bad press for nike to sue. Plus there is no commercial gain other than his name getting thrown out there. And also, AI. Images generated using AI have no ownership so technically they have no one to sue.

This image is not AI. This was a graphic designer for this one, but like I said to #2 it’s positive reception is for Wemby and the other reaction is shitting on a different athlete of theirs. I feel like Nike would want an ad where it showcases Wemby’s greatness and Shai’s MVP seasons. Not just “well Wemby is getting shine, fuck Shai ig”
