He arguably didn’t deserve either MVP tbh.

back to back 1 seeds while averaging 30+ on historical mid range and around the rim efficiency while being top 10 is DRtg as a point guard ... seems pretty elite to me

Yeah but other players had better seasons. If his impact was all that, he wouldn’t be averaging sub 40% from the field and sub 30% from 3 in this series. Honestly seems like his supporting cast is keeping him afloat when it matters.

i mean this series is quite literally proving the opposite i would say, the spurs mentality is literally "make the other guys beat us" and so far the series is 2-2 so clearly his supporting cast isn't that incredible. They ended up 1st in Drtg and 7th in Ortg led by him being 4th in usg%

“His supporting cast isn’t incredible” and “1st in Drtg” on the same reply lmfao. Yeah ok dude 💀 is that why Caruso dropped 30 in their game 1 loss?

Y’all are so annoyingly inconsistent bro. When people say “4-1 on the regular season” it’s “but playoffs are different” when people refer to how players are doing in the playoffs on average, it’s “he was like this during the regular season” 🫩

Alex caruso went from 42/33 to 54/47 obviously it's a drastic difference, but at the end of the day it's a regular season award and no player has been comparable to sga over the past 2 seasons in terms of value success and efficiency

Wemby does more for the Spurs than SGA does for the Thunder. Because SGA is borderline worthless when he struggles to score. Wemby is still the best defender of all time when he struggles to score. And Wemby is an offensive juggernaut too.
