I dont really give a shit about “tanking”. Teams just suck sometimes. Why should we punish them cause of supposed “tanking”? Screw the bettors its their fault if they get screwed. Plus not everyone is in la or new york and can just pay for stars at will

I mean the jazz benching its stars for the last half of the season pretty much so they could tank to bottom 8 and not have to give up their draft pick to okc is kinda a problem in my eyes.

It makes for bad product. The league is about ratings and they’re already suffering enough as is

It would be different if it was 3-5 teams any given year, it’s literally more than a 3rd of the league. Like 13 teams are actively tanking, there is only 30

Even with their stars they still sucked so at that point what can you even do to get better? Utah isnt a market where you can just spend more and get guys to go there. So literally their only way to get better is through the draft or trades. This whole anti tanking push is cause the big market and legacy teams got pissed the small markets could compete. Okc built themselves up through the draft. It sucks for the fans for sure but simply the jazz werent ever gonna go anywhere this year.

Ratings were up a lot this year for the reg season. There are always gonna be bad teams doesnt mean theyre trying to lose. Its so silver looks like hes doing something when he isnt

Nah no way. Some ppl cant tell the difference between them being bad and tanking. Teams can just suck. Plus 20 teams get in the playoffs. There are just bad teams out there. Its la and new york pissed off smaller market teams like okc can compete so they wanna take away the 1 way to build a team through the draft
