Giannis been underrated bc lack of recent playoff success and the fact that ppl don't watch Bucks games
Also whatever reason he has bad PR the past few years..... those actually watching games know he's been at least 1A/1B

I think the travel convos are hurting him more than ppl think

Also could be the fact that the Bucks haven’t been contenders the past two years, sure they’ve been injured

The fact that Giannis is a top 3 defender in the world is way too easily forgotten. 30ppg on 60% while being a perennial DPOY candidate is glossed over way too easily

Eh I think his effort on defense has declined a bit, like he’s still top 10 but definitely not as dominant

Ever since Khris got traded and he’s taken on more of an offensive workload, I’d agree. Whether that’s his own choice or not.

Whatever he “lost” defensively he’s more than gained back in playmaking, though. He’s able to fully run the offense through him now

Last season, Jokic led the 4th best offense in the league (w/ a mid supporting cast) while Giannis’ was 11th, jokic’s passing/vision is so much better

I don’t disagree with you there, Jokic is 1 of 1 in terms of playmaking. Just saying Giannis has made huge strides in that department since 2021

Hmm… I think the bigger improvement has been his midrange game that allows him to be a threat from farther out and stretch the floor
