So they don’t have to trade Jimmy FOR Bron they need to trade Jimmy to clear the cap space

If you trade a player you basically have to take in a player with the same amount of money or a collection of players with a sum salary equal to the player you traded (unless you’re dealing with a team that isn’t at a market cap, but pretty much every team is)

Also Bron said he’d take a vet minimum so we’re only talking about a couple million dollars, not worried about cap space
