I think the bigger factors are the 2023 CBA and bad drafting at the top end (they draft well at the bottom end). Are some coaching decisions questionable? Sure, but do we really expect drastically different outcomes with this roster?

Roster construction is shit but you also don’t help yourself playing 4 guard lineups and decreasing your chances of winning.
