Context matters. His peers are other instances of 30+ ppg, nobody gives a fuck he’s shooting more FTs then someone averaging 24. free throws make up less of his game then history tells us it should at this scoring level, and he’s done it on the highest guard efficiency of all time. Bottom line.

Even if he did flop every other drive he still shoots less FTs then most MVPs and most high volume scorers. There’s no mental gymnastics around statistics im sorry. So then what are you crying about?
