honestly i'd recommend starting with doing it yourself with nail polish that's what i do (even as a girl), it's a lot cheaper and you don't have the pressure of going to a salon or anything. press ons could be good too but i don't have experience with those. but sally hansen polish is like 3 bucks at walmart last i knew and usually lasts me like a week
