stranger things is pretty ass (i stopped watching after season 3 tbf) but yeah house of cards and narcos are pretty good. season 2 of squid game was ass and dark and daredevil were kinda eh imo. glad you like ‘em tho

I hated Emilia Perez. I also love Bojack Horseman. Just because there’s 1 good Netflix show and 1 bad Netflix movie doesn’t mean they enforce the medium’s status quo.

Also iirc Netflix picked Emilia Perez up after its festival premiere. I could be wrong, but I don’t think Netflix had any involvement in making the film, just distributing it.

Dawg the only Netflix movie I can remember is Cuties. There are plenty of good shows and the only movie that I can actively remember was def made by a guy who was on the island. If anything Netflix’s movies are ass and the shows are good.

Forgot all about it’s existence until you brought it up, so uh thanks :/ If you don’t remember the Meyerowitz Stories, Marriage Story, White Noise, Jay Kelly, Beasts of No Nation, Okja, Klaus, Tick Tick Boom, the Irishman, the Power of the Dog, the Ballad of Buster Scruggs, or High Flying Bird, then idk what to tell you other than you’re missing out on peak cinema.

Lowk forgot Beasts of No Nation was a Netflix Original, Buster Scruggs was pretty decent. Never heard of more than half of those and the other ones seem mediocre at best.

I’ve seen Klaus (forgettable), Tick Tick Boom (forgettable) and the Irishman (alright, but nowhere near as good as the Departed or Goodfellas). Also, never heard of those two either.

Why’s is matter if the Irishman isn’t as good as Departed or Goodfellas? I certainly agree, but that shouldn’t diminish the quality of the Irishman. I think Silence, the Last Waltz, and the Last Temptation of Christ are significantly better than Goodfellas and the Departed, but I don’t let that distract me from my liking of those movies. Also, if you haven’t heard of most of these movies, then you probably just aren’t into movies, or at least more into television, and I think that’s why we can’t
