Even when I hate this franchise, I got so passionate defending Star Wars from a coworker who said that “Star Wars is ass and just a copy of dune” that I accidentally called Frank Herbert’s son a chud in the workplace😭

I saw the first Dune movie and it is NOT a copy. There are some influences, but Dune was so boring.
