To be fair most of those TV series have the budget of a movie per episode so the plot isn’t easier and they save a lot of money on the long-term because they can reuse the set there by making certain things really cheap a set that would cost 100 mil divided up into 10 episodes is only 10 million an episode which is more reasonable than for some of the movies

I mean it does now. It’s been progressively going down in quality since season 2. It’s all crass shock “humor” instead of substance. Crazy to think that the same studio that made Invincible made the Boys lmao.
