I mean they tried to do something like that by making him afraid of the water, but like they should’ve also had a physical force literally keeping him there besides just random bystanders in hazmat suits, like a fake mafia or fake muggers or something, have him and his wife get shanked for real by a fake mugger instead of just saying “we’re closed today” everytime he tried to leave
