Just finished it (had to take a nap towards the end bc I was extremely fucking tired for unrelated reasons, but it turned into just sleeping so here we are) current thoughts are I liked it! Yeah the scene with the bathtub was kinda gross but otherwise the amount people freaked out about the movie being disgusting was disproportionate. Most likely had to do with the movie being very open with expressions of sexuality which had everyone clutching their pearls

Spoilers for those who haven’t seen it: I really liked how Oliver never openly admitted to his true feelings for Felix. He seemed to frame it more as an obsession with his life as opposed to him as a person and that he wanted that life for himself, but it’s blatantly clear to the viewers that Oliver taking over saltburn at the end wasn’t the original goal, or at least that’s how I saw it. He likely did want saltburn, but he also wanted Felix and when it was clear he couldn’t have him, then no-
